A strategy/business development (partnerships) guy with two successful exits plus a passion for innovation and disruptive business models, Sheel has founded, invested in, and advised a diverse set of companies, primarily focused on FinTech. He is a partner at 500 Startups focused on FinTech, and is running the 500 FinTech accelerator and the FinTech fund.

Sheel has been a regular public speaker on topics of entrepreneurship, social innovation, and the revolution taking place in payments/point of sale. In 2009 and 2010, he co-wrote (with CK Prahalad) two business school case studies on social innovation.
